Carrier Fuel Surcharges Change on Monday April 5, 2010...

Effective April 5, 2010 the UPS fuel surcharge for Domestic Air and International will decrease from 7.50% to 7.00%. The fuel surcharge for Ground will decrease from 5.50% to 5.00%. These surcharges will remain in effect until May 2, 2010. Shippers may be asked to apply this update when they start CPS Daily Entry on or after Monday April 5, 2010. If not asked at CPS Daily Entry startup, this feature has been turned off or CPS has been set to apply UPS fuel surcharge updates automatically without prompting. If you are not sure, you can select File>UPS>Adjust Fuel Surcharge from CPS in the Daily Entry menu bar. If the amounts have not been set, you can change them manually on the UPS Fuel Surcharge screen. UPS fuel surcharges are the only carrier fuel surcharges to be set in this fashion. All other national carriers are handled automatically.
